N55 Intake Kit

The CTS Turbo Intake Kit is engineered to provide a premium upgrade for your N55-equipped BMW F2X, F3X, or F87 chassis. Unlike many aftermarket intakes that utilize a circular MAF housing, which can lead to inaccurate air flow readings, erratic idling, and reduced fuel economy, this kit features a proprietary, OE-style hexagonal aluminum MAF housing. This design ensures that your car's computer (DME) receives correct air flow data, maintaining optimal running conditions and preventing common side effects. The system incorporates a large-bore 3.5" CNC mandrel-bent aluminum intake pipe with black powder coating for a smooth, turbulence-free path for cold air. Air is drawn through a 3.5" high-flow, reusable air filter featuring an inverted cone design to maximize engine breathing. The kit also includes a powder-coated airbox that works with the OEM air scoop to force cold air into the intake. Additional components like 4-ply silicone connectors, stainless steel clamps, and specialized bracketry for the airbox ensure a secure and rattle-free installation. This intake system is compatible with both manual and automatic transmission vehicles. Peak power gains of 10-15 HP are expected on otherwise stock vehicles. The kit includes all necessary hardware and bracketry for installation.
