The Burger Motorsports BMS-N55-E9X-IT is a performance intake system designed for BMW N55 engines. This intake aims to retain the good aspects of the OEM N55 intake, including cold air ducting and lightweight heat shielding. It is available with a blue filter.

The Burger Motorsports BMS-N55-E9X-IT performance intake system is engineered to overcome the limitations of the factory intake on BMW N55 engines. While the stock system effectively funnels cold air, its upper section is excessively restrictive. This aftermarket solution works with the OE lower ducting and heat shielding, replacing the upper section with new high-flow ducting and a performance filter. This design not only enhances airflow but also provides a more audible intake and turbo spool sound. Extensive testing has shown that this intake can deliver up to a 10+ HP gain at the wheels, along with quicker turbo spool speed and improved throttle response. The system features a cleanable and reusable filter, is made in the USA, and is designed for a super fast installation and removal, taking approximately 5 minutes. It retains the OEM airbox base for heat shielding and the OEM cold air ducting. This intake system is specifically designed for BMW models equipped with the N55 engine, including the E82/E88 135i, E9X 335i/xi, and E84 X1. Please note that this product is not for sale or use in the state of California.
