The Weistec N62B40 ECU Tune is a computer upgrade specifically designed for the BMW 4.0L V8 (N62) engine, offering significant performance enhancements for naturally aspirated applications from 2004-2010. This ECU tune provides substantial gains across the entire powerband, delivering improved throttle response, optimized fueling, and optimized ignition timing. It is engineered to increase horsepower by up to +33 HP and torque by up to +22 TQ compared to stock figures (which are 302 HP and 288 TQ). The tuning process involves reflashing your original ECU. Buyers can choose between the W.1 (Stock Vehicle) stage or the W.2 (Race Exhaust fitted) stage. It is important to note that this product is NOT LEGAL FOR SALE OR USE ON POLLUTION CONTROLLED MOTOR VEHICLES and is not street legal in all U.S. states. Compatibility is limited to specific BMW models, including the 740i (E65) and 740li (E66) from 2005-2008, all equipped with the 4.0L V8 (N62) engine and 6-speed automatic transmission.
