N63 Dual Cone Intake

The ARM Motorsports N63 Intake is engineered to replace the factory air boxes on N63-equipped BMW models, offering an upgrade in performance and sound. This system features a dual cone design that facilitates improved airflow, leading to better throttle response and a more audible turbo spool. To combat heat soak, the ARM N63 Intake positions its filters at the front of the engine bay, utilizing fresh air ducted from the OEM air ducts. For those seeking maximum performance, an optional Front Facing Upgrade is available, which relocates the filters behind the front grille to draw in even cooler air. Both configurations utilize ARM Dry Air Filters, constructed with multi-media material and a high-flowing synthetic fiber layer to maximize airflow while effectively filtering out contaminants. The effectiveness of this intake was demonstrated on a 2012 550i GT with a Stage 2 tune. After installing the ARM 3" Downpipes and N63 Intake, the vehicle saw gains of 48 whp and 43 wtq, resulting in a total of 460 awhp and 525 wtq.
