Overview

The Pure Turbos BMW N63/N63TU Stage 2 Upgrade Turbos are a high-performance turbocharger upgrade kit designed for enhanced power output and exhaust efficiency. These units are built with custom billet compressor wheels, larger high-flow turbine wheels, and upgraded bearing housings for improved durability under heavy loads.

Each turbocharger is CNC machined and VSR high-speed balanced to ensure smooth operation. These units utilize the OEM housing for a direct, plug-and-play installation.

The Pure Turbos BMW N63/N63TU Stage 2 Upgrade Turbos are engineered to deliver significant power gains, with the capability to support over 850 wheel horsepower. Each turbocharger features a custom billet compressor wheel, a larger high-flow turbine wheel, and a heavy-duty, large-pad upgrade thrust bearing housing to improve exhaust efficiency and long-term durability under extreme operating conditions. These units are CNC machined and undergo VSR high-speed balancing to ensure optimal performance. They are built into OEM housings to provide a direct plug-and-play installation for a wide range of BMW 4.4L V8 applications, including the 550i, 650i, 750i, M550i, M850i, and X5/X6/X7 "50i" and "M" models from 2008–2022. Important technical requirements must be noted: custom tuning is strictly required to optimize the engine for these upgraded turbos. Performance results will vary based on selected fuel types and supporting modifications. This product is intended for competition use only and is not legal for use on public roads or highways under California law. A refundable core deposit is required to facilitate the upgrade process, unless the customer opts to send their OEM turbo cores to Pure Turbos in advance for rebuilding. The upgrade is backed by a 1-year unlimited mileage warranty.
