N63TU Racing Catless Downpipes

The Evolution Racewerks cat-less racing downpipes are engineered for the 2012+ F10 550i and F06/F12/F13 650i models featuring the N63TU engine. This performance upgrade removes the restrictive factory catalytic converters, which significantly robs horsepower and torque, allowing for a freer-flowing exhaust system. By enabling the turbo to spin more freely and with less strain, these downpipes contribute to increased power and torque, improved throttle response, and faster turbo spool. They also offer a weight savings and eliminate the risk of catalytic honeycomb material breakdown causing blockages. Constructed in the USA from 304-grade stainless steel with mandrel-bent piping, these downpipes are designed as a direct fit, utilizing the original V-Band flange connection and incorporating a flexible pipe section. Brackets and O2 sensor bungs are also made of stainless steel and TIG welded, with the O2 bung positioned in the factory location. Optional finishes include mirror polished, brushed silver, or black thermal ceramic coating, which helps to lower underhood temperatures and minimize heat soak, further improving turbo spool and throttle response. Using these racing downpipes may result in check engine lights and fault codes, even with sport cats. Race software, such as Epic Motorsports Race software, is strongly recommended to optimize power gains, eliminate fault codes, and adapt the car to its modifications for track use.
