The Radius Fabrications N70 Hilux Airbox is an Australian-made, custom-designed airbox engineered to be a direct bolt-in replacement for the factory unit in diesel N70 Hilux models. Fabricated from quality aluminum and utilizing CAD design for precise fitment, this airbox is built to provide a fully sealed intake system, ensuring a consistent supply of clean air to your engine, crucial for towing, touring, or driving in dusty conditions. Designed to mount in the original factory airbox location and utilize existing mounting points, the Radius N70 airbox offers improved airflow and filtration over the standard setup. While generally a direct replacement, minor variations in vehicle manufacturing may occasionally require the use of alternative mounting holes for the brackets. The airbox is compatible with Safari snorkels, allowing for installation with piping between the two components. This airbox is specifically designed for diesel N70 Hilux models and is not compatible with petrol engines. It is intended for Toyota Hilux N70 models from 1997 to 2005. While the airbox provides significantly improved airflow, particularly when paired with a high-performance filter, a tune may be required in approximately 1% of vehicles, though Radius Fabrications cannot predict which specific vehicles will necessitate this. The airbox uses an Aeroflow filter, which is widely available. Installation of the snorkel or airbox does not affect towing capacity.
