This S&B 60-gallon replacement fuel tank directly replaces the OEM 29-gallon tank without any cutting, drilling, or special modifications. It holds 9 more gallons than competitor tanks, allowing for extended range. The float's empty position in the S&B Tank is the same as the OEM tank, providing a greater fuel reserve. The S&B tank reuses the OEM sending unit. Important notes: High-flow fuel station nozzles may not fill automatically. If your truck has the V-shaped crossmember connected to the carrier-bearing crossmember, the S&B Tank will not fit with it in place. S&B Sump Fittings/Drain Plug fittings are required when using the sump feed/return port or after drilling out the bottom port to use as a drain. Using auxiliary fuel tanks with this product will void the Lifetime Warranty.
