The RCI Metalworks BRONCO-SLIDER-TP-BK5 are heavy-duty rock sliders designed to protect the rocker panels and doors of the Ford Bronco during off-road driving. These sliders feature a robust frame-mounted design that disperses impacts into the truck frame, providing superior protection compared to body-mounted alternatives. They are constructed with a full-length 3/16″ frame plate and a five-leg design, utilizing a 2″ square main rail (stronger than 1.75″ round tube) and 1.75″ DOM (Drawn Over Mandrel) outer rails for uncompromised strength. Heavy-duty 1/4″ thick gussets reinforce all five legs, and the mitered, 3/16″ steel, laser-cut, and bent end caps offer enhanced durability and aesthetics. The sliders are capable of supporting the entire side of the truck for lifting with a hi-lift jack or for sliding over rocks. They are a direct bolt-on addition to existing mounting locations, requiring no drilling. The BRONCO-SLIDER-TP-BK5 includes a bolt-on tread plate, which provides additional safety for ingress/egress, protection from tire-thrown debris, and a dimpled surface for enhanced grip and structural rigidity. These sliders are designed with a 20-degree upward angle for a low profile and maximum ground clearance (a 5-degree option is also available for a flatter step). They are finished with a heavy-duty black textured powder coat over an epoxy primer for superior durability and corrosion resistance. All necessary grade 5 & 8 hardware is provided.
