NA & NB Miata Long Tube Headers

The V8 Roadsters LSx Long Tube Headers are a performance upgrade for NA and NB Miata models, specifically designed for V8 Roadsters LSx conversions. Constructed from durable 304SS, these headers feature robust 3/8 inch thick flanges and 1-¾ inch primaries that merge into a 3 inch collector. Integrated O2 bungs are welded for sensor installation, and the slip-style collector design enhances ground clearance. Installation may require the removal of the steering shaft and is recommended to be performed from the bottom. Loosening the engine and lifting it, or potentially loosening and suspending the subframe, may be necessary to facilitate installation depending on the specific engine bay configuration and installer's working area. A specific GM starter part number (88878289) is noted for compatibility. It is important to note that GTO and F-Body long style headers will not fit. An optional Jet Hot Ceramic Coating is available for an additional cost, which includes a three-week service time as the headers are shipped to and from Jet Hot. The coating is black. These headers are built by Kooks for V8 Roadsters and have shown documented gains of around 20hp on a stock LS6 compared to shorter, smaller primaries.
