NA8 Catalytic Converter

The Flyin' Miata NA8 catalytic converter is a free-flowing performance upgrade for 1994-1997 Mazda Miatas. This converter offers improved performance and is noted as being somewhat louder than a stock unit, making it particularly suitable for turbocharged applications. It is constructed with stainless steel flanges and utilizes a 300-cell ceramic core. The unit comes complete with gaskets and bolts for installation. This catalytic converter is EPA-approved for its application and is legal in most states. However, it is not CARB legal and cannot be shipped to California or Colorado. It is also not legal in states requiring CARB cats, including California, Colorado, and New York for 1994 and 1996+ model year cars (though it remains legal for 1995 cars in NY). For UK vehicles with a 1996 P registration or later, modification or replacement of the exhaust system may be necessary. The factory catalytic converter on these specific models is longer (475mm vs. 440mm), rendering the standard exhaust system incompatible with this aftermarket converter.
