RockJock's narrow weld-on Johnny Joints for fabricators and suspension system builders offer 40 degrees of unrestricted movement in any direction as compared to 22 degrees on a common heim joint!Johnny Joint rod ends offer cushioning that a heim joint cannot provide via a high-density urethane bushing that encases the inner ball.The heat treated center balls are cross-drilled for thru-bolt lubrication and the joint internals are retained with 2 heavy duty, heat treated side washers and a snap ring.The outer shell is weldable .180 Inch wall machined DOM tubing, fitted with a zerk fitting for greasing. MIA's Description

It is constructed from 4130 chromoly and offers 25 degrees of articulation capability. The rod end features a 1.800 in. wide pivot ball with a .630 in. thru-bolt hole and a 2 in. O.D. x 1.20 in. wide outer barrel.

It is suitable for custom builders and offers a slightly firmer ride due to its 1-piece bushing. Greasing is managed externally via a 1/4 in.-28 zerk fitting. The rod end is sold as a weld-on assembly and ships disassembled.
