The Gwatney Performance SS3 camshaft is a hydraulic roller camshaft specifically designed for naturally aspirated Gen III and Gen IV LS engines. This is the brand's most popular street/race camshaft, engineered to provide superior torque and horsepower gains compared to their SS1 and SS2 VVT camshafts. It is performance-tuned to remain strong up to 6900 RPM, making it an excellent choice for the dedicated street/strip enthusiast. To fully leverage its capabilities, a 3600+ RPM torque converter is required, and it performs exceptionally well with 3.91 gearing. The camshaft is compatible with rectangular port head LS applications. This camshaft is intended for use in street and race environments.
