Description

The Blackbird Fabworx NB GT3 Gen2 Roll Bar is engineered for the 1999-2005 Miata, providing enhanced safety for track driving enthusiasts. This Gen2 design update utilizes state-of-the-art production tooling for a redesigned single-piece base plate, a 3D laser-notched main hoop, and new 3D bent gussets. Constructed from DOM steel, this roll bar features a full X brace and an integrated harness bar. The harness bar is a welded structural member that includes relocation tabs for OEM seat belts, which are fully integrated into the roll bar structure. The design ensures the OEM glass window is cleared and allows the soft top to fold down flat. It is also compatible with OEM hard tops. Factory seat travel is retained, though recline is slightly reduced. All plastic and carpet trim panels can be reinstalled with some trimming required. Installation is a bolt-in process, with a high-grade hardware kit and installation manual included. It is also recommended for NA generation Miata owners (90-97) who have upgraded to an NB soft top.
