Installation is simplified for 2015-2021 WRX and STI models as the kit includes a direct plug-and-play harness, requiring no wire tapping. Owners of 2013-2021 Crosstrek models must note that this plug-and-play harness is not compatible; a separate dedicated harness must be purchased to ensure proper electrical function. Professional installation is recommended for those who are not comfortable working with vehicle electrical systems.
