NetGain Hyper 9 144V EV Conversion Package

The EV West "Universal" Starter Kit is an EV conversion package that provides the core drive components for custom electric vehicle builds. This kit is ideal for users who plan to fabricate their own transmission adapter plate, coupler, motor mount, and battery system, offering a professional fit and finish for the essential drive elements. This comprehensive kit includes the NetGain Hyper 9 144V AC motor, which features regenerative braking. It is paired with a programmable SME AC-X1 500 Amp, 144 Volt controller. For efficient operation, the system incorporates a motor controller liquid cooling plate (H9 VW Chill), state of charge instrumentation via the Xantrex Link Pro, and a Toyota Prius Hall Effect throttle controller. Additionally, a 5:1 pre-scaler and a Deltec 600 Amp shunt are included for accurate measurement, along with a standard J1772 charge inlet. Upon installation of this system, the user will need to add a compatible battery system, along with necessary cables, fuses, and a contactor box, to complete the electric drive conversion.
