The NetGain HyPer9 HV AC Motor X144 Controller Kit from EV West represents a significant advancement in high-voltage AC motor technology. This kit features the 9-inch HyPer9 HV AC motor, engineered with a permanent magnet assisted synchronous reluctance design for exceptional efficiency, achieving an IE4+ rating of 94%. The motor itself is IP56 sealed for durability. The included SME AC-X144 controller is capable of accepting a DC input voltage of up to 180 Volts and delivering an impressive output of up to 500 Amps, with a peak power of 88kW. Despite utilizing permanent magnets manufactured without rare earth elements, the motor provides a substantial 172 lb/ft of torque, offering a powerful performance advantage. This comprehensive kit contains the HyPer 9 HV Motor, the SME AC-X144 Controller, a 35-pin connector and wire harness, a Gigavac GV200-PA Contactor, and a 12-volt HV Relay. Key specifications include a maximum RPM of 8,000, an integrated encoder and temperature sensor, and an external heatsink for thermal cooling. The motor face is B-Face compatible with Warp drives. Please note that the SME Dash Display is sold separately. A critical compatibility note is provided: this system will only work on 6S and 7S Tesla packs, not 3, 4, or 5 series packs like the regular H9 model.
