This seat features a newly designed high-rigidity steel frame and a monocoque shell developed using 3D-CAD, resulting in dramatically improved rigidity and strength over the previous GIAS II model. Specifically constructed with an FRP silver shell and standard density foam urethane cushions for the seat and thighs, the GIAS III provides a good hold and reduces fatigue by applying pressure evenly across the seat surface. It also boasts enhanced durability and wear resistance. Compared to the Stradia III, the GIAS III offers more prominent shoulder support and higher knee support. Furthermore, its frame demonstrates superior strength, with load-bearing strength 200% higher, torsional strength 40% higher, and backrest frontal impact strength 15% higher than the GIAS II, ensuring robust support under high-speed G-forces. A belt hole for a six-point harness is also newly installed on the back of the seat.
