New Process 242 Transfer Case

The Zumbrota Drivetrain RTC242J-3 is a remanufactured New Process 242 transfer case specifically designed for the 1993 Jeep Cherokee. This unit is built to rigorous standards by expert craftsmen, ensuring quality and reliability. Key specifications include a 23-spline input shaft with a .75-inch exposed length, a bolt-on front output yoke, and a 27-spline rear output shaft. It also features a 2-piece tail housing, a 1.75-inch speedometer hole, and a 4-pin indicator switch located in the speedometer housing. Zumbrota Drivetrain emphasizes quality through meticulous inspection of all cases and internal components for common wear issues like cracks, stripped threads, shaft straightness, gear wear, and chain stretch.
