NexGen Stage 2 + Flex Fuel Package Upgrade

The COBB Tuning NexGen Stage 2 to NexGen Stage 2 + Flex Fuel Package Upgrade is designed to expand the capabilities of your existing NexGen Stage 2 Power Package. This upgrade allows your vehicle to take advantage of higher ethanol content fuels, such as E85, found at fueling stations, thereby maximizing power and efficiency. This package comprises the essential NexGen Ethanol Content Sensor Kit and the Fuel Pressure Sensor Kit. These components are crucial for the correct functioning of the COBB NexGen Stage 2+Flex Fuel Off The Shelf (OTS) Maps. By integrating these sensors, your vehicle can dynamically adjust fuel input based on the ethanol percentage in the fuel, enabling increased power output when using E85 compared to standard E10 fuels. The ethanol content sensor is mounted on a bespoke bracket, and pre-made fuel lines ensure seamless connection. The 0-100 PSI pressure sensor connects via a 1/8″ NPT fitting, and the NexGen Flex Fuel Module handles the necessary data processing before sending information to the ECU. This package is specifically designed for 2008-2021 Subaru STI models and 2008-2014 Subaru WRX models. It is important to note that while COBB Tuning has established a reasonable basis (testing results) via SEMA Garage Emissions Certification that this product allows the vehicle to operate within legal emissions standards for most states, it is NOT LEGAL FOR SALE OR USE IN CALIFORNIA ON ANY EMISSION CONTROLLED MOTOR VEHICLE. Testing with the California Air Resources Board for 50-state compliance is pending.
