The GForce Next Gen Crossmember, finished in black powder coating, is engineered for 1968-1972 A-Body hardtop vehicles including the Chevelle, Malibu, Monte Carlo, GS, Skylark, 442, Cutlass, F85, Grand Prix, GTO, LeMans, Tempest, Special, Sport Wagon, and Vista Cruiser. This crossmember is specifically designed to fit 6L80E and 6L90E slip yoke transmissions. Included with this crossmember is the GF-GMATM Transmission Mount to ensure a proper fit. The distance between the frame mounting holes is 53-5/8 inches, and users are advised to measure their frame before ordering to guarantee correct crossmember selection. The product includes all necessary mounting hardware. This crossmember will not fit convertible models or El Caminos with a boxed frame.
