Next Generation Cold Air Intake

The JLT Performance Next Generation Cold Air Intake is engineered to enhance performance for the 2003 and 2004 SVT Cobra models. Constructed from roto-molded plastic, the 4 1/4" ID intake tube is designed to resist engine heat, ensuring cooler intake air charge temperatures. This system relocates the massive 4.5x12” S&B Powerstack air filter into the fender well for optimal cooling and is capable of supporting 800-900 RWHP. The "Molded In MAF" design integrates a 105mm MAF housing directly into the tube, eliminating the need for separate couplers or reducers and promoting smoother airflow. It requires an SCT BA2600 or BA3000 MAF sensor, and will not work with stock Ford MAFs or SCT 2400/2800 MAFs due to different bolt patterns. Custom tuning is explicitly required for this intake system. Fitment considerations include potential modifications for throttle body locations depending on aftermarket blowers (Kenne Bell, Whipple) or K-members. The kit will not fit with most strut tower braces or aftermarket K-members. Furthermore, this product is designated "FOR CLOSED COURSE COMPETITION USE ONLY" and is not legal for street use nationwide under the Federal Clean Air Act. It is also NOT CARB Exempt and cannot be legally sold or used in California or other states adopting CA emission standards. Required components include an SCT BA 2600 or BA300 MAF sensor and custom tuning. The kit includes the J&L Plastic Intake Tube, Silicone Coupler, Apron Plate, 4.5x12” S&B Powerstack air filter, J&L MAF Gasket, and HD Clamps.
