The JLT Performance Next Generation Ram Air Intake is an aftermarket air induction system designed for 1996-2004 Mustang GT models with the 4.6L SOHC V8 engine. It features a 4-inch roto-molded ABS plastic tube and a vacuum-formed heat shield to help minimize engine bay heat soak while improving airflow for better throttle response.

The JLT Performance Next Generation Ram Air Intake utilizes a 4-inch diameter roto-molded ABS plastic tube designed to resist engine bay heat and optimize the intake air charge. This kit includes a custom vacuum-formed ABS heat shield that effectively blocks heat at low speeds and idle, ensuring the engine receives cooler, denser air for improved performance. The system comes complete with a high-flow 4x9-inch S&B powerstack reusable air filter, silicone reducers for both the throttle body and mass air flow (MAF) sensor, a MAF adapter with gasket, and all necessary heavy-duty hardware. Installation is intended to be straightforward, typically requiring about one hour with basic hand tools. This intake is specifically engineered for 1996-2004 Mustang GT models equipped with the 4.6L SOHC V8 engine. Please note that this system does not fit vehicles equipped with a Kenne Bell supercharger. Additionally, this product is intended for closed-course competition use only and is not legal for highway or street use in many jurisdictions. No computer re-tuning is required for operation.
