Nexus S2 Plug-and-Play ECU Adapter Harness Kit

The Haltech Nexus S2 Plug 'n' Play Adapter Harness Kit is a direct replacement for the factory ECU in the Mazda Miata (MX-5) NB, offering a significant upgrade in performance and functionality. This kit is designed for specific NB models, including ADM Special Edition (Factory Turbo), USDM Special Edition (Factory Turbo), VCT, and Non-VCT variants from 2000-2004 (Australia) and 2001-2005 (USA). It is exclusively for vehicles with a 3-plug, 3-row factory ECU and manual transmission. At its core is the Nexus S2 ECU, the successor to the Elite 1500, boasting superior processing power and new features. The kit includes the Nexus S2 ECU, a custom-molded plastic plug-and-play adapter harness, an M14 x 1.5 air temp sensor with its corresponding plug and pins, and an auxiliary I/O 16-pin Tyco plug and pins. The Nexus S2 ECU offers 4 peak/hold injector drivers, 4 low current ignition outputs, 6 PWM-capable low-side drive outputs (DPOs), 4 push-pull/half-bridge outputs for electronic throttle, and an ECR output. It also features 11 analog inputs, differential trigger/home inputs, 6 synchronous pulsed inputs, an onboard 4-bar MAP sensor, and an onboard wideband controller supporting NTK and LSU4.9 sensors. For data logging, it supports up to 300 channels at sample rates up to 1ms (1kHz) with 128MB of internal memory. Note that using the Nexus S2 instead of the Nexus S3 will result in reduced factory functionality. This kit is intended for installation on non-emissions-controlled vehicles for off-road/competition use only. Haltech products are not to be used on public roads or highways unless a specific regulatory exemption exists.
