The Motul NGEN HYBRID 0W-8 is a synthetic engine lubricant specifically designed for Hybrid Electric Vehicles (HEV) and Plug-in Hybrid (PHEV) vehicles. It is formulated for modern gasoline engines that require a low-friction, low-viscosity SAE 0W-8 oil with a high-temperature, high-shear (HTHS) rating of ≥ 1.7 mPa.s.

This oil addresses the unique demands of hybrid powertrains, including fuel dilution, water emulsion, frequent start-stop cycles, and low oil temperatures. It features 25% bio-sourced base oils and is packaged in a bottle made from 50% recycled plastic, reflecting Motul's commitment to sustainability.
