NGK variable pitch resistor cables provide uniform resistance and ensure outstanding electrical conductivity in high-quality cables. Outer EPDM/silicone jacket and inner insulation contain high voltage currents for excellent dielectric strength. NGK variable pitch magnetic core cables produce the necessary impedance to suppress interference throughout the entire frequency spectrum for exceptional EMI/RFI noise suppression. OE or better specified spark plug and distributor boots ensure the highest quality fit, performance and durability in every application. Spark plug boots are glued to NGK cable with a silicone sealer for a watertight seal. Stainless steel terminals utilizing up to 3 serrated crimps bite into cable jacket and inner insulation for the highest terminal retention strength (wherever possible). Locking C-shaped spring clip with corrosion-resistant plating ensures a secure and positive spark plug terminal connection.

The NGK Resistor Spark Plug Wire Set (8100, also known by part number RC-ME77) is designed to provide reliable ignition performance. These wires feature a "variable pitch" winding construction that effectively reduces radio frequency interference, while offering lower resistance compared to conventional carbon core wires, contributing to a longer lifespan. Each wire is built with a fiberglass stranded core, enhancing overall strength and protecting against damage from pulling strains. The set includes custom-designed terminal boots for an exact fit and uses high-quality EPDM and Silicone coverings to resist high temperatures, oil, and chemical damage. The wires are equipped with positive locking, corrosion-resistant, nickel-plated terminal ends for a secure fit and maximum resistance to vibration and separation. For ease of installation, the wires are numbered to correspond with cylinder numbers, and the coil wires are color-coded.
