The NGK 6858 is a Laser Iridium spark plug designed to provide superior ignitability and a long service life. It features a fine wire iridium-tipped center electrode and a fine wire platinum-tipped ground electrode for a slow wear rate, ensuring a stable idle, improved anti-fouling, better fuel efficiency, and reduced emissions.

Constructed with pure alumina silicate ceramic insulator for strength and heat transfer, it also includes a copper core for heat removal. Trivalent metal plating offers superior anti-corrosion and anti-seizing properties, while corrugated ribs prevent flashover and triple seals prevent leakage.
