The NGK 92556 is a Laser Iridium spark plug designed to provide superior ignitability and long service life. It features a fine wire iridium-tipped center electrode and a fine wire platinum-tipped ground electrode for a slow wear rate. This construction ensures a stable idle, superior anti-fouling, improved fuel efficiency, and lower emissions.

The spark plug is constructed with pure alumina silicate ceramic for superior strength and better heat transfer, while a copper core aids in heat removal. It also includes trivalent metal plating for anti-corrosion and anti-seizing properties, and corrugated ribs to prevent flashover. Triple seals are incorporated to prevent leakage.
