Laser platinum plugs provide stable idling, superior anti-fouling, improved fuel efficiency and lower emissions. High-grade pure alumina ceramic and 98% pure copper core prevents spark plug from overheating and provides reliable starts. Most Laser Platinum spark plugs feature a platinum pad on the ground electrode for even wear in distributorless ignition systems.

The NGK 94806 is a Laser Platinum spark plug designed for high ignitability and extended service life. It features dual platinum surfaces that are laser welded, contributing to a slow wear rate for a stable idle, improved fuel efficiency, and reduced emissions. The spark plug also includes trivalent metal plating for anti-corrosion and anti-seizing properties, corrugated ribs to prevent flashover, and a pure alumina silicate ceramic insulator for strength and heat transfer.
