The NGK LTR71X-II is a set of four iridium spark plugs designed for performance applications. These plugs are one step colder than stock, making them ideal for engines running higher boost pressure and modifications. They are pre-gapped by Mountune to an optimized setting for specific applications.

The NGK LTR71X-II Iridium Spark Plug Set is a performance upgrade designed to withstand the extreme conditions of EcoBoost engines, which often operate with high cylinder pressures. Standard spark plugs can experience rapid wear under these conditions, leading to decreased performance, misfires, and rough idling. This set of four iridium plugs is one step colder than the original equipment, making them perfectly suited for vehicles with increased boost pressure and common bolt-on modifications. Each spark plug in the set features an iridium construction, known for its durability and ability to maintain optimal performance. Mountune pre-gaps these plugs to specific application settings, ensuring a precise fit and function out of the box. This optimization is crucial as increased wear on spark plugs typically manifests as a widened gap and electrode degradation, both of which this product aims to mitigate. This spark plug set is recommended for high-boost street use and promotes smoother acceleration. Applications include the 2013-2018 Ford Focus ST, 2016-2018 Ford Focus RS, 2019-2023 Ford Ranger, 2014-2019 Ford Fiesta ST, and 2017-2020 Ford F-150 Raptor.
