The Nismo racing spark plug is a high-performance ignition component manufactured by NGK for demanding racing environments, including N1 competition. Designed with an Iridium center electrode and a Platinum outer electrode, this 0.6mm diameter plug delivers improved ignition performance and significantly reduced electric discharge voltages compared to standard units. This plug features a heat range of 8 and is designed with a BC-E (JIS) type configuration. The design incorporates a resistor and has been optimized to offer better anti-smoldering and fouling characteristics, ensuring reliability under the high-stress conditions found in motorsport applications. These units are sold individually. Compatibility is specific to high-performance Nissan engines, including the RB20DET and RB26DETT found in vehicles such as the Nissan Skyline R32, R33, and R34. Due to the high-performance nature of these components, professional installation is recommended to ensure correct heat range selection for your specific engine tune and build requirements.
