NGK variable pitch resistor cables provide uniform resistance and ensure outstanding electrical conductivity in high-quality cables. Outer EPDM/silicone jacket and inner insulation contain high voltage currents for excellent dielectric strength. NGK variable pitch magnetic core cables produce the necessary impedance to suppress interference throughout the entire frequency spectrum for exceptional EMI/RFI noise suppression. OE or better specified spark plug and distributor boots ensure the highest quality fit, performance and durability in every application. Spark plug boots are glued to NGK cable with a silicone sealer for a watertight seal. Stainless steel terminals utilizing up to 3 serrated crimps bite into cable jacket and inner insulation for the highest terminal retention strength (wherever possible). Locking C-shaped spring clip with corrosion-resistant plating ensures a secure and positive spark plug terminal connection.

The NGK 8141 Spark Plug Wire Set is designed to meet stringent OEM tolerances. It utilizes a "variable pitch" wire winding for resistance to radio frequency interference, and a ferrite magnetic layer for uniform resistance and conductivity. The wires have lower resistance (8k ohm/meter) compared to conventional carbon core wires (16k ohm/meter). A fiberglass stranded core provides strength, while high-quality EPDM and silicone coverings resist heat, oil, and chemical damage. Custom-designed terminal boots ensure an exact fit, and positive-locking, corrosion-resistant stainless steel terminal ends prevent vibration and separation. The wire sets are numbered for easy cylinder identification and coil wires are color-coded for correct installation. The insulation outside diameter is 0.275", and the finish is blue. It comes with a 3-year/36,000-mile warranty.
