The NGK ZFR5F-11 V-Power spark plug is engineered to enhance ignition performance through its innovative design. A distinctive v-cut in the center electrode helps to accelerate spark development, leading to improved ignitability and minimized quenching effect. This advanced design contributes to better fuel economy and reduced emissions. Constructed with a pure alumina silicate ceramic insulator, this spark plug provides excellent strength and heat transfer capabilities. The copper core further assists in heat dissipation, ensuring optimal operating temperatures. For added durability and reliability, it features trivalent metal plating for superior anti-corrosion and anti-seizing properties, and corrugated ribs to prevent flashover. Key specifications include a 14mm thread diameter with a 1.25mm pitch, a gasket seat type, and a 19mm (3/4") reach. The solid terminal type and a 5/8" (16mm) hex size facilitate installation. The center electrode is made of nickel with a V-Cut type, measuring 2.5mm and featuring an extended projection. The ground electrode is a standard nickel type with a quantity of one. This spark plug also incorporates a resistor with a value of 10k Ohm and has a heat range of 5. The recommended torque specifications are 18-25.3 lb. ft. for cast iron and 18-21.6 lb. ft. for aluminum cylinder heads. The expected longevity is approximately 30,000 miles, with a 60-day warranty.
