This piston is designed for Nissan VQ37VHR engines with an 8.50:1 compression ratio. It is forged in the USA using 2618 aluminum for high tensile strength in high-demand performance applications. The proprietary Forged Side Relief (FSR) forging design minimizes friction and power loss with a reduced skirt width and saves weight with a shorter wrist pin. Skirt coating (application dependent) reduces friction and wear.
