The Trail Grappler® M/T tire provides an aggressive mud tread design with quiet on-road performance. It features a 3-ply sidewall and thick rubber construction for increased puncture resistance. Leading edge tread and side lug blocks enhance lateral stability and forward traction. Nitto’s engineers used 3D computer simulation to optimize tread block design, resulting in a tire that is 34% quieter at street speeds and 36% quieter at highway speeds compared to the Nitto Mud Grappler. Each Grappler has two sidewall designs for aesthetic choice. Reinforced shoulder grooves improve off-road and all-season performance, and deep center sipes reduce hydroplaning.
