The Nitto Trail Grappler was designed for F-150 owners who want a serious mud tire that's easy to live with every day. The tread pattern has been engineered to reduce highway road noise by 36% over the Mud Grappler from Nitto. The tread design balances voids and tread blocks, contributing to a quiet ride while still evacuating mud and dirt. Stone ejector tabs help keep the contact patch clean, and unique 3D tapered grooves on the edge of the tread blocks increase traction on the trail. Twin steel belts provide a smooth ride and enhance tread life. Deep center siping helps resist hydroplaning, and a deep "Z" groove down the center of the tire provides lateral stability and increases traction in rain and mud. The voids and chiseled shoulders also help to keep mud and rocks from sticking in the tire.
