Non-Adjustable Upper Control Arm

The BMR Suspension UTCA017 is a non-adjustable upper control arm engineered to enhance the performance of your 2005-2010 Ford Mustang and 2007-2010 Ford Shelby GT500. Constructed from heavy-duty, MIG-welded 1 5/8-inch DOM steel tubing with a 0.120-inch wall, this component is built to withstand demanding driving conditions. This control arm replaces the stock unit, which is known to deflect under load and absorb power. The UTCA017 features high-durometer, internally fluted, greasable polyurethane bushings (95-durometer) that provide a more responsive feel than stock rubber bushings. The internal fluting ensures efficient lubrication, keeping grease within the bushing to maintain quiet and reliable operation. This design dramatically reduces control arm flex and bushing deflection, leading to improved cornering consistency, harder launches, and reduced wheel hop. Designed for street performance, drag racing, and road racing applications, the UTCA017 offers improved performance with OEM-like NVH (Noise, Vibration, and Harshness) levels. It is available in a durable red or black hammertone powdercoat finish for long-lasting good looks. The estimated installation time is 2-3 hours. Important Note: BMR strongly recommends upgrading the stock Upper Control Arm Mount (part # UCM001) when installing aftermarket upper control arms on S197 Mustangs.
