The BMR Suspension UTCA017 is a performance-oriented, non-adjustable upper control arm set specifically designed to enhance the driving dynamics of the 2005-2010 Ford Mustang and 2007-2010 Ford Shelby GT500. By replacing the stock control arms, which utilize soft rubber bushings that deflect under load and absorb power, the UTCA017 offers a significant upgrade in performance and consistency. Constructed from robust 1 5/8 inch, 0.120-inch wall DOM steel tubing, these control arms are built for durability and strength, minimizing flex during aggressive driving. They are equipped with two-inch, 95-durometer polyurethane bushings that provide a more responsive feel than stock rubber components. These bushings are internally fluted for optimal grease retention and distribution, ensuring quiet operation and longevity. The design is well-suited for street performance, drag racing, and road racing applications, promoting improved repeatability on the street, at the drag strip, or in cornering scenarios. Installation time for the BMR UTCA017 control arms is estimated to be between 2-3 hours.
