NOVI 1500 Supercharger System, Driver-Side Mount

The Paxton NOVI 1500 Supercharger System delivers serious centrifugal supercharging performance for classic, carbureted Ford Mustangs. It is inspired by the iconic Paxton-equipped Shelby GT-350s of the 1960s. At the heart of the system is the gear-driven Paxton NOVI 1500 supercharger, offering high airflow capacity and smooth, linear boost. With a 3.7-inch 8-rib pulley, it produces approximately 7.5 PSI at 5,500 RPM on a stock V8 engine. The system includes a cast aluminum carburetor enclosure engineered for consistent air/fuel ratios under boost, compatible with specific Holley, Quick Fuel, and Demon carburetors that feature mechanical secondaries, .120 needle and seat assemblies, and nitrophyll floats. It also includes a boost-referenced mechanical fuel pump, fuel lines, and a high-flow air filter. This system is designed for specific Ford Mustang models from 1964-1968 with 260, 289, or 302 V8 engines, and 1969 Mustangs with the 351 Windsor H-Code engine. It is important to note several installation limitations: factory stock compression ratio is recommended, non-stock intake manifolds may require a cowl hood, and it is not compatible with generator-equipped vehicles. Additionally, the throttle linkage is only compatible with 1964-1968 Mustangs, and it only fits with small-diameter distributor caps. This system is not compatible with air conditioning and, due to the driver-side mount, does not support power steering. The 1969 351W systems are best suited for H-Code engines.
