The Paxton NOVI 2000 Supercharger Kit is a gear-driven centrifugal supercharger designed to significantly enhance the performance of 1986-1993 Ford Mustangs equipped with a 5.0L V8 engine. This kit aims to transform your stock Fox Body, boosting its output to an estimated 328 horsepower and 358 lb/ft of torque, achieved through 7-9 PSI of boost from the NOVI 2000 supercharger. Key components of this tuner kit include the NOVI 2000 supercharger with its drive pulley and bypass valve, mandrel-bent aluminum tubing with silicone couplers, and a high-flow, reusable air filter. A direct-to-gear, constant circulation oiling system ensures optimal lubrication and cooling, even during sustained boost conditions. This comprehensive system is compatible with factory OBD II engine management systems, simplifying installation. It includes all necessary hardware, oil feed and drain assemblies for lubrication and cooling, and a billet aluminum mounting bracket. The kit is also noted as being 50-State Smog Legal under CARB E.O. #D-195-19. Installation is recommended to be performed by a professional due to the mechanical expertise required; it is estimated to take approximately a weekend. Custom dyno tuning is a mandatory requirement for the system to operate correctly.
