NP243 Electric Shift Transfer Case

The Zumbrota Drivetrain RTC243D-5 is a professionally remanufactured NP243 transfer case built to exacting standards for 2007-2011 Dodge Dakota and 2007-2008 Mitsubishi Raider vehicles. This unit features an electric shift system, a star-shaped shift shaft, and a splined slip yoke style front output shaft. The shift motor is not included with this transfer case. During the remanufacturing process, Zumbrota Drivetrain meticulously inspects cases and internal components for signs of wear, including cracks, stripped threads, shaft straightness, gear wear, and chain stretch. They employ an exclusive hydro-blast rinse and blasting procedure, followed by a proprietary deep cleaning process on all parts. Each unit is fully rebuilt with 100% replacement of seals, bearings, and viscous couplers (when applicable). To ensure quality, all finished units are thoroughly spun tested for shift-ability and noise. To prevent damage during transit, all transfer cases are shipped in high-density plastic totes. The remanufacturing process aims to restore the case to its OEM finish through a state-of-the-art hydro blasting and rinsing process. This transfer case has an external spline front output shaft and a 32-spline rear output. It is a 2nd generation case with specific technical notes including tag numbers like 52123016AB and 52123108AB, and Hollander numbers 412-00663 and 412-00673. It is important to note that this unit does not include a shift indicator switch.
