NP243 Electric Shift Transfer Case

The Zumbrota Drivetrain NP243 transfer case is a professionally remanufactured unit built to rigorous standards for GM 1996-1999 1500 series trucks equipped with 4L80E transmissions. During the remanufacturing process, expert craftsmen meticulously inspect and test all cases and internal components for wear, including cracks, stripped threads, shaft straightness, gear wear, and chain stretch. Zumbrota Drivetrain utilizes an exclusive Hydro-blast rinse and blasting procedure, followed by a proprietary shot-enticed deep cleaning, to restore parts to an OEM finish. Every unit is fully rebuilt with the replacement of all bearings, seals, and viscous couplers, and then thoroughly spin-tested for shift-ability and noise. This specific NP243 transfer case features electric shift functionality, a 32-spline input shaft, a bolt-on front output yoke, a three-prong shift indicator switch, and a speed sensor hole. The rear output shaft is a slip yoke style. Please note that the shift motor is not included with this unit.
