NP271 HD Transfer Case

The Zumbrota Drivetrain RTC271D-2HD is a remanufactured NP271 transfer case engineered as an upgraded, heavy-duty replacement for specific Dodge Ram trucks. It is built to provide enhanced durability and performance for demanding applications. This transfer case is meticulously rebuilt by expert craftsmen using rigorous inspection and cleaning processes. Internal and external components are checked for wear such as cracks, stripped threads, shaft straightness, gear wear, and chain stretch. Zumbrota Drivetrain employs a Hydro-blast rinse and blasting procedure, followed by a proprietary shot-enticed deep cleaning. The rebuilding process includes the 100% replacement of all bearings and seals. The rear output shaft is a 34-spline slip yoke style. It has no speedometer hole and features a 5-position shift indicator switch with a 1.5-inch hex on the switch.
