Description

The Zumbrota Drivetrain NTC271D-4 is a new NP271 transfer case, engineered as a direct replacement for 2003-2008 Ram 2500 and 3500 pickup trucks. This unit is built with quality in mind, featuring 100% new components and undergoing rigorous quality inspections throughout the manufacturing process to meet Zumbrota's high standards. All parts are meticulously cleaned and inspected before assembly. The transfer case is shipped in high-density plastic totes to ensure it arrives without in-transit damage. Key technical specifications include a 23-spline input shaft with an 0.84-inch exposed length, and a 34-spline slip-yoke style rear output shaft. It operates with a manual shift type and is equipped with a 2-position shift indicator switch featuring a 7/8-inch hex, but it does not include a provision for a speedometer hole. The unit is identified by tag numbers 52853060AB, 52853060AC, 52853060AD, and 52853060AE, and carries Hollander number 412-528A.
