The NPR 10-502 is a piston set with rings designed for specific Acura Integra and Honda ZC models. A piston is a crucial component that moves within a cylinder to compress the air-fuel mixture and transfer combustion force to the crankshaft. Symptoms of worn pistons include engine misfires, excessive oil consumption, and internal engine noise.

The NPR 10-502 is a piston set with complete ring sets, constructed from ultra-performance premium grade aluminum alloy. These pistons feature gas nitrited steel rings designed for 50% longer life, reduced cylinder wear, and improved fuel economy. The improved design includes more efficient oil passage holes in the oil ring groove to minimize fractures, prevent oil gumming, and reduce engine failure. This piston set is specifically designed as a direct replacement for the 1988-1989 Acura Integra 1.6L (D16A1 engine) and 1986-1999 Honda ZC JDM 1.6L (also DOHC, 16-valve) engines. The standard bore diameter is 75.00mm, with ring group measurements of 1.20mm for the first group, 1.50mm for the second group, and 2.80mm for the oil ring. Four piston wrist pins are included. It is strongly recommended that professional installation be performed, as the buyer assumes all risk of damage resulting from improper installation. The warranty provided by Mizumo Auto is a 90-day limited warranty against defects in workmanship and materials, excluding labor costs, damage from accidents, misuse, or unauthorized modifications. Piston rings, main bearings, and rod bearings are non-returnable if the manufacturer’s seal has been opened.
