Overview

The MAHLE 50962-030 is a precision-ground engine piston ring set designed to OE form, fit, and function specifications. Engineered for a 4.151-inch bore diameter at +0.030-inch oversize, this set is an ideal solution for engine rebuilds requiring oversize rings to restore proper cylinder sealing after a bore job.

The top ring features cast iron construction with a 0.0781 in. axial height, positive twist, and barrel face for rapid break-in. The second ring is also cast iron, with a 0.0625 in. axial height and a reverse-twist design for superior groove side sealing and oil control. The stainless steel oil ring assembly has a 0.1875 in. axial height and MAHLE's exclusive CP-20 design with a 20-degree ear angle for optimal side seal and simplified installation. Precision-ground ring flanks ensure maximum ring-to-piston groove sealing.
