The Nitto NT01 is a D.O.T.-compliant competition road course tire designed for the weekend road racer. It features a specialized race compound developed to balance dry traction, consistency, heat cycle performance, and longevity for fast and consistent lap times. The tire is molded at 6.3/32nds of an inch with large continuous tread blocks and sweeping lateral grooves, and can be shaved down to 3/32nds for race slick performance.

The Nitto NT01 is a D.O.T.-compliant competition road course tire engineered for road racers and track-day enthusiasts. Its specialized race compound is developed to provide an optimal balance of dry traction, consistency, heat cycle performance, and longevity, ensuring fast and repeatable lap times. The tire features a high modulus rayon carcass, steel-reinforced sidewall, and advanced body construction for enhanced stability during braking, cornering, and acceleration. The NT01 is molded with large continuous tread blocks and sweeping lateral grooves, with a tread depth of 6.3/32nds of an inch that can be shaved down to 3/32nds to function as a race slick. The asymmetrical tread pattern is optimized for dry racing conditions to maximize contact with the track surface. This tire offers excellent dry performance, with ratings of 5 out of 5, while wet performance is rated at 1.5 out of 5. Installation of the NT01 competition tire is straightforward and requires no drilling. It features a UTQG Treadwear rating of 100, Traction AA, and Temperature A.
