The Nitto NT01 is a D.O.T.-compliant competition road course tire engineered for dedicated road racers and track-day participants. The NT01's compound is developed to offer optimal grip and responsiveness, even under demanding track conditions. Constructed with a high modulus rayon carcass, a steel-reinforced sidewall, and advanced body construction, the NT01 ensures handling stability during braking, cornering, and acceleration. The tire is molded with large continuous tread blocks and sweeping lateral grooves, and can be shaved down to 3/32nds of an inch to function as a race slick. Its UTQG ratings include Treadwear: 100, Traction: AA, and Temperature: A. This tire is specifically optimized for dry performance, with a rating of 5 out of 5. Wet performance is rated at 1.5 out of 5, with quietness and ride comfort also rated at 1.5 out of 5. The NT01 features a black sidewall and a size of 205/50R15.
