The Nitto NT05 is a max performance tire engineered for pure street performance, designed to complement the power of your vehicle. Developed through extensive computer simulation and on-track testing, it offers precise and responsive handling. The tire features a continuous center rib and large outer shoulder tread blocks for consistent road contact and superior dry performance. Its specifically formulated tread compound and reinforced internal construction emphasize dry road response, traction, handling, and high-speed capabilities. The reinforced tread blocks and continuous center rib provide exceptional rigidity and stability, contributing to predictable cornering. While optimized for dry conditions (rated 5 out of 5 for dry performance), it also offers respectable wet performance (rated 3 out of 5), though quietness and ride comfort are rated lower (2.5 out of 5). The UTQG rating for this tire is 200 for Treadwear, AA for Traction, and A for Temperature.
