The Nitto NT555 G2 is an ultra-high-performance summer tire engineered for drivers seeking enhanced traction and handling in both wet and dry conditions. It is constructed with a proprietary silica compound and a specialized bonding agent that reinforces chemical bonds, resulting in higher compound stiffness for improved cornering grip. The tire's tread design includes twin center ribs and larger tapered tread blocks, contributing to excellent dry traction and increased stability during cornering and straight-line acceleration. For wet weather performance, four circumferential center grooves and lateral shoulder grooves effectively channel water away from the contact patch, reducing the risk of hydroplaning. Reinforced shoulder tread blocks further enhance both wet and dry cornering capabilities.
